My Receipt Printer Is Not Printing Receipts

💡
If your socket scanner won't scan, be sure to check that it is paired via bluetooth in your iPad. If it won't pair, you may have to re-program your scanner. Follow the steps below.

How to Check if Your Receipt Printer is Connected To Bluetooth

  1. Go to the general settings of your iPad.
  1. Go to the Bluetooth menu.
  1. If the Device is paired, it will show under My Devices and have a status of "Connected". The device is called "TM-M30II".
  1. If it shows a status of "Not Connected", simply tap on the device name to start connecting them.
  1. If the device will not connect, turn off your receipt printer, count to 3, then turn the receipt printer back on.
  1. Attempt to re-connect again.

How to check the device address on your receipt printer

  1. On the receipt printer, push the power button to turn off the receipt printer.
  1. Once the receipt printer is turned off, hold down the feed button.
  1. While holding down the feed button, push the power button, but continue to hold down the feed button until a receipt prints out.
  1. On this receipt, under the bluetooth section, look for "BD_ADDR"
  1. Once you find it, go to your SPOS app.
  1. On the SPOS App, go to settings, then select "Printer"
  1. The device address entered in the iPad should match the device address on the receipt you printed out before next to BD_ADDR.
  1. If the receipt shows a different device address than the iPad, update the iPad to reflect what was printed on the receipt.
  1. Save changes.
  1. Go to the general settings of the iPad and confirm that the receipt printer is still connected.
  1. If the receipt printer is not connected, click here to reconnect it.
  1. Go to the SPOS app and try to print a receipt from a previous sale.
