Step 1: Access the ‘Add product’ button
- Log in to https://app.materialretail.com/
- Click Inventory on the left side menu
- Go to the Products tab beneath Inventory
- Click ‘Add products’ in the top right corner
Step 2: Enter Product Details
- Enter the product name and Style number
- Select your vendor from the dropdown menu or add your own
- Add the department the item falls under (the more specific the better)
- Add Tags for the item
- this will be used for internal filtering
- Think of all the things your customer may be looking for and add tags for them to find it
- Example: for a casual summer dress add tags like: ‘summer’, ‘casual’, ‘everyday’, ‘vacation’, ‘light’
- Add the color of the item
Select the colored circle that best matches your product
You can change the name of the color to whatever shade you want
- Upload images
You can resize the images easily using the green pencil tool
The more images you add, the more the customer will want to buy
Step 3:
- Set up variants, inventory and prices.
- Choose your size type
- Add your sizes
- Add quantity to each variant
- Add your prices
- Add Shoptiques.com information
- Check off the box for Shoptiques.com
- Our software will generate an AI description of your product based on the first image you uploaded
- Add your categories
- Add additional information such as fiber content, size and fit, and made-in country
- Add optional attributes
- Click save
