How to Reset the Unit Cost of a Product

💡
Our system will treat the wholesale price as the default unit cost when the quantity of a product is increased through the Product Import tool or Quick Inventory Adjustment. Thus, to reset the unit cost of a product, you could simply set the quantity of that product to 0 and then adjust the quantity back to the original number with Quick Inventory Adjustment. This will reset the unit cost of a product to the wholesale price. This article will show you the steps to reset the unit cost of a product.

Reset the cost

  1. Go to the Products page on your Shoptiques POS web app
  1. Look up the product that you want to adjust its quantity by searching it by the product's name
