These simple steps will show you how to process your first sale and the most common changes you can make in the POS iPad App.
Processing Your First Sale:
Steps
- Tap Add to cart to add the item to the sale.
- (Optional) Add a customer to the sale so rewards can be applied/tracked.
- (Optional) Add an employee to the sale to track commission.
- To edit an item, tap the item in the cart.
- From there, you can change the price for that transaction.
- You can also update the name that prints on the customer’s receipt.
- Need to track credit on a specific item? Add an employee to an individual item.
- When you’re done making item changes, go back to the main cart.
- If you add multiple items to the cart, you can review them together.
- You can also make sale-level adjustments and add notes for the sale as a whole.
- When you’re ready to check out, tap the blue total button.
- Choose your payment method.
- Tap Complete Order.
- Congratulations — you just made your first sale!
