Fixing connection and printing issues
If your receipt printer is not connecting or printing correctly, try these steps in order.
- Check for POS app updates
- Open the App Store on the iPad.
- Search for your POS app.
- Tap Update if available, then reopen the POS app.
- Check for iPad (iOS) updates
- Go to Settings โ General โ Software Update.
- Install any available update.
- Restart the iPad after the update completes.
- Re-pair the printer via Bluetooth
- Go to Settings โ Bluetooth.
- Find the receipt printer under My Devices.
- Tap the i icon next to the printer name.
- Tap Forget This Device.
- Turn the printer off and back on.
- In Bluetooth, select the printer to pair again.
- Return to the POS app and select the printer again if prompted.
If the printer still does not work after re-pairing, confirm the printer has paper loaded, the lid is fully closed, and the printer is powered on.

Cleaning
If your receipts are printing with black lines or other blemishes on them, your receipt printer may need to be cleaned.
- Face the side with an "EPSON" logo toward you.
- Lift up the grey lever at the bottom-right corner of the surface of the printer

- Dip the cloth lightly to the rubbing alcohol
- Clean the part above the roller in the inside of the printer

- Clean the part under the serrated cutter

- Close the cover and it should be all set!
