Overview
Use these steps to troubleshoot a DYMO barcode label printer that will not print or connect.
Step 1: Confirm power and Bluetooth connection
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
- Confirm the printer is connected via Bluetooth to a compatible computer.
Step 2: Check system requirements
Verify the computer meets the DYMO label printer requirements:
- Windows XP (32-bit)
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
- Mac OS X v10.4 or later
Step 3: Confirm you are using DYMO labels
Use DYMO-branded labels. Third-party labels may not feed correctly or may not be recognized.
Step 4: Check the printer status light
- Blue: Power is on and the printer is ready.
- Dimmed blue: Printer is in power saving mode.
- Flashing blue: Labels are not loaded correctly, or the label roll is empty.
If you still need help
If the issue continues after completing the steps above, re-pair the printer in Bluetooth settings and then try printing again.
