How To Manage Employees

Add a New Employee

  1. Login to https://app.materialretail.com/employees.
  1. On the black side bar, push Employees.
  1. To add a new employee, push the blue Add Employee button.

  1. A pop up window will open, then enter employee First Name, Last Name, Email and Role. If the employee is a manager, toggle on the Manager button at the bottom.

  1. After filling out the fields, push Add Employee.

Edit an Existing Employee

  1. Under Employees, select the employee you would like to edit and push the Edit Button on the right side.

  1. A pop up will appear and you can edit the Employee's Name, email, and Role.

  1. Push Save Employee once changes are made

Deactivate An Existing Employee

  1. Under Employees, select the employee you would like to edit and push the Edit Button on the right side.
  1. A pop up will appear and you can deactivate the employee which will stop giving them access to the POS.

  1. The deactivated employee will now appear in the tab of inactive employees.

ReActivate a Deactivated Employee

  1. Under Employees, select the Inactive tab on the employees page.
  1. Select the customer you would like to ReActivate and push Edit.
  1. Once the pop up appears, push the Activate Button to reactivate the employee.

  1. The employee will now show up under the Active Tab on the Employees Page.

Employee Pins

  1. The employee pins are used to clock in & out of the system using the iPad.
  1. Each code is custom and assigned to the employee upon creation of the employee.
  1. To reset an employee pin, simply click the "Reset" button next to the employee's name.
