Set Up & Use Conversations

Step 1 - Enabling Conversations

1. Go to https://app.materialretail.com/settings

2. Click Conversations

3. Click Enable/Disable Conversations

4. Click the grey toggle and make it green

Step 2 - Selecting a Phone Number

1. Go to https://app.materialretail.com/settings

2. Click Conversations

3. Click Phone numbers

4. Click add phone number

5. Search for your area code and/or numbers you want to have in the number

6. Select a number

7. Name your number and assign it to a location

8. Click Add phone number

Step 3 - Sending your first text message

1. Go to https://app.materialretail.com/home

2. Click Customers

3. Click Conversations

4. Click New Message

5. Search for a customer by name, email, or phone number

6. Click on the customer and enter the conversation

7. At the bottom of the page, type your message and click enter or send.

8. Send a photo by clicking the photo icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.

Step 4 - Download and Use Conversations From The New POS Tools App.

1. Download the newest version of the Material POS Tools App here https://apps.apple.com/us/app/shoptiques-pos-tools/id1473585264

2. Log in and click on Conversations in the bottom menu and text away!

1. Make sure to have push notifications turned on so you don’t miss a message by going to settings in the bottom corner of the tools app menu.
