<aside> 💡 You will close your register at the end of the day. Once your register is closed, you will not be able to check any more customers out until you re-open the register.

  1. On your SPOS App, click the 3 line menu on the top left corner of the screen.
  2. This will expose the extended black side menu bar.
  3. At the bottom of the black side menu bar, you will see a picture of a register and the words "Close Register".
  4. Click on "Close Register"
  5. This will open up the closing report template.
  6. You'll see your total sales, net sales, sales tax and the amount of cash the system expects there to be in the register based on your sales for the day.
  7. Next, you'll fill out CASH IN THE REGISTER. You'll count up your TOTAL cash amount that is currently in the register (make sure you count the amount you're planning to leave in the rester too)
  8. Next you'll tell the register how much cash you want to leave in the drawer. Type the amount you want to leave in the drawer under CASH TO LEAVE IN THE REGISTER.
  9. On the right side of the screen, you'll see your breakdown by payment method for cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, and store credit.
  10. Next, you'll hit close register. This will generate the closing report.
  11. You have the option at the bottom left of the screen to either print the closing report out on your receipt printer, or email the closing report to the email address of your choice.
  12. You can access this closing report at any time in the reports tab of your SPOS app, or on https://pos.shoptiques.com/reporting/closing-reports
