Terminal is plugged into your router
- If your credit card machine says it has failed to get network parameters, that means that the credit card machine is not connected to wifi properly.
- If your credit card machine is hard wired directly into your router, check to make sure that the ethernet cord is fully plugged in to both the router and the credit card machine.
- If the cord is loose, push it in fully, then reboot your machine.
- If the cords are plugged in, please check that your router is working, you may need to reboot your router to reset the connection.
Terminal is connected to the internet via TP link
- If your credit card machine is connected to a TP link, please verify that the TP link is plugged in tightly to the credit card machine and the other end is plugged into power.
- After verifying that the TP link is plugged in, check to see if the light on your TP link is a solid green or if it is a flashing light.
- If it is solid green, reboot your credit card machine, the issue should be resolved.
